Interior2 was engaged by iconic Australian fashion house Camilla to deliver the construction of their new headquarters in Alexandria. The project translated the brand’s vibrant, globally inspired identity into a highly detailed and immersive workplace environment.
The scope encompassed a striking feature stair, a two level showroom designed to showcase collections in a dynamic and experiential setting, as well as open-plan office areas, breakout spaces, and a series of themed meeting rooms. Each space was carefully considered to reflect the storytelling and layered aesthetic synonymous with the Camilla brand.
A key highlight of the fitout is the extensive use of bespoke joinery, natural stone, intricate mosaics, and curated artefacts sourced from India and Bali. These elements combine to create a rich, textural environment that celebrates craftsmanship and global influence, resulting in a workplace that feels both distinctive and authentic.
Early engagement and close collaboration with the project team were instrumental in achieving a successful outcome. This proactive approach enabled Interior2 to identify and procure long lead-time items in advance, while also providing value engineering solutions and strategic cost management advice. The result was a high-quality delivery, completed within a tight programme and aligned with the client’s budget expectations, without compromising the design vision.
