Bohemia, a multidisciplinary marketing company and part of the M&C Saatchi Group, engaged Interior2 to deliver the construction of their new headquarters in Redfern.

The project involved the adaptive reuse of an inner city warehouse, transforming a sparse, industrial shell into a highly functional and visually compelling workplace and client facing environment. The design approach carefully balanced the raw character of the existing structure with the comfort and warmth required of a contemporary office.

A strong material palette underpins the space, with extensive use of polished concrete and engineered timber flooring reinforcing the building’s industrial heritage while introducing a refined, tactile quality. These elements are complemented by a considered lighting strategy, which enhances the architectural features and creates a layered, inviting atmosphere throughout.

The result is a dynamic and engaging workspace that seamlessly blends industrial authenticity with a distinctly residential sensibility, supporting both creative collaboration and day-to-day functionality, while leaving a lasting impression on staff and visitors alike.
