The Australia Council for the Arts pre-requisite for its new premises was to showcase emerging local artistic talent. Interior2 was tasked with realizing this vision with designers, The World Is Round. Incorporating indigenous themed colour palettes, the new space exudes a striking first impression with its ribbed wall panelling and intricate reception desk. There are numerous collaboration spaces, quiet rooms, breakout spaces which are spaced around  the new office space. A large custom joinery book case extends across half the space simulating a room divide which houses many local literature titles. Arguably however, with panoramic views over Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and across to North Sydney, the kitchen / breakout area is the focal point for staff and visiting artists. The area can also be used as a general meeting area with extensive video conferencing capabilities.
